INDAIRPOLLNET (CA 17136) is a European COST (Cooperation in Science and Technology) Action with a network of experts on indoor air. The overarching aim of INDAIRPOLLNET is to define a blueprint for the optimal indoor air chemical characterisation campaign, which is relevant for the buildings we use and for the way that we use them.
As part of this COST action, a training school for Early Career Investigators (ECIs) was organised at the EUROPHORE (EUropean PHOto-REactor) chamberin Valencia, Spain between the 26 and 28 of February. Dr Sara Fenech was invited to attend this year鈥檚 ECIs training school and presented work related to indoor air quality in Malta carried out by the Air Quality Group from the Department of Geosciences.
Attendees also got to visit the EUROPHORE where experiments on air quality are routinely conducted.
Training on poster presentations as well as collaborations for proposal writing was also given. From the Department of Geosciences, Dr Noel Aquilina and Prof. Raymond Ellul are Management Committee members and Dr Pierre-Sandre Farrugia is a Management Committee substitute member in this COST Action.
