Prof. Leandra Vranješ Markić , a quantum physicist and Vice-Rector at the University of Split, Croatia, visited the University of Malta in order to develop stronger relations between the two institutions: both UM and USplit are members of the six-university consortium titled SEA-EU that applied for and was successful in bidding for the prestigious 'European University' initiative, launched last year by the European Commission.
Discussions included planning a variety of activities that will involve staff and student driven initiatives across the SEA-EU consortium.
