As previously communicated in the Newspoint interview with , final year Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Digital Arts students were very much looking forward to exhibiting their dissertations in the much-anticipated yearly exhibition.
When it became evident that plans for the physical exhibition were ebbing away, the 35 students reading for the degree, whose skills cover a diverse range of artistic fields, changed course and decided to still exhibit their work, but virtually.
CTRL Z refers to the ‘undo’ keyboard shortcut, which comes in handy when undoing failures in digital work. “This is something that attests to having tried and failed, only to regroup and try again until one succeeds”, said one of the artists whose work is being exhibited.

The exhibition features a wide range of themes, amongst which are explored the topics of identity, duality, homelessness, LGBT relationships, video game and film adaptations, VR and fashion. There is an over-arching theme of questioning and delving into that which is deeply and innately human.
