What is that one thing that is guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit?
Is it all of the glittering lights, the cold, wintery days, the yearly occurrence of digging out the Christmas jumper, speakers in public spaces blaring out festive music, or decorating your house with poinsettias?
How about combining all of those, and more, in one event?
Christmas on Campus is back – and YOU are invited.
(Don’t worry – all physical distancing rules will be adhered to!).
The Opening Ceremony will be held next Wednesday, 9 December on the Quadrangle (or at the UM Chapel if the weather isn’t favourable), but it will also be live-streamed via the . You’re welcome to join if you’re on campus, but you can follow us virtually, from wherever you are.

- Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December will be Park and Donate Days - donate EUR 1 for a parking space on campus.

- From 14 to 18 December you can give a donation when you stop at one of the four Temperature Checkpoints located on Campus and you will be presented with a festive plant.
- Between 15 and 23 December (weekdays) the Christmas Novena will be held in the Chapel. During the weekend the Novena will be too - on 19 December at 19:30 and on 20 December it will be held at 11:00.
Don’t forget to order your poinsettias from the UM Chaplaincy until this Sunday 6 December. You can collect your poinsettias on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December or you can choose to have these delivered to you.
All proceeds from all activities will go towards our two yearly beneficiaries, namely L-Istrina and id-Dar tal-Providenza. The donation to L-Istrina will be presented on Saturday 26 December while that for Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be presented on Friday 1 January 2021.
Let’s make this a real Christmas for one another, in the best way we can, given the present circumstances.
Watch out for further announcements throughout next week.
