A commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion: A visual meditation from Prof. Ronald Sultana, during a recent Faculty of Education event.
This six minute slide feature represents Professor Ronald Sultana’s reflections on the Manifesto for Inclusion, and can be used as a teaching tool when addressing issues of social justice.
In 2017 Professor Laura Nota and Professor Salvatore Soresi from the University of Padova, in Italy, helped put together the Manifesto for Inclusion with ideas and proposals by over 600 academics and practitioners from all over the world.
The Manifesto articulates a different way of being in the world, promoting a set of values alternative to the ones we associate with neo-liberalism, and which promote inclusion and socially just practices at all levels of society.
The Manifesto as well as the publication …For a Manifesto - In Favor of Inclusion: concerns, ideas, intentions, and passwords, edited by Nota and Soresi, .
