University of Malta academic, Professor Joseph Borg participated at the Analysis Working Group members meeting organised by last week. He has now been invited alongside other keynote speakers and distinguished scientists to speak about Malta鈥檚 first mission to the International Space Station - Project Maleth in an upcoming public workshop also organised by NASA Gene Lab.
The NASA Gene Lab project consists of Analysis Working Groups with the goal of maximising the generation of new knowledge from rare and complex spaceflight-relevant omics datasets within the Gene Lab Data Systems. Professor Borg now forms part of researchers, principal investigators, professors and students, all who join on a volunteer basis. The workshop will be fully virtual and will consist of two-half day sessions designed to highlight the members' accomplishments and recruit new AWG members to the cause.
