Professor JosAnn Cutajar and Mr Roderick Vassallo, Chair and Co-Chair of the Gender Equality & Sexual Diversity Committee respectively, attended the first transnational meeting of the Gender Equality Plan in Academia - Raising Diversity (GEPARD) project on Thursday 31 January 2022.
GEPARD's main objective is to include and counteract gender-based exclusion by developing a system of activities leading to the elimination of gender discrimination in the academic environment, through the interaction and pooling of resources within the international consortium.
GEPARD has four main intellectual outputs: i) a report on the practice in gender equality plans, ii) publishing of a methodological guide in setting gender equality plans, iii) publishing a set of resources with respect to equality and iv) publishing a set of teaching materials addressing equality.
