The time has finally come for postgraduate and doctoral graduands to celebrate their achievements. The graduation ceremonies will be held in the coming weeks at the Jesuits Church in Valletta, as over 2600 graduands will be receiving their graduation scrolls. The graduation ceremony is undoubtedly a milestone in the students’ journey and the University of Malta ensures that this is a memorable day for all those involved.
The students who successfully concluded their studies in 2020 amid the pandemic will still get to celebrate their success, as the first batch of ceremonies will be dedicated to the 2020 cohort.
The highlight of the graduation ceremonies will be on Monday 21 March, when the doctoral students will be split into two ceremonies: one at 14:00, with a total of 53 Doctoral graduands, (22 females and 31 males) and another one at 17:00, with a total of 60 Doctoral graduands (33 female and 27 male).
The graduation ceremonies started on Monday 14 March, 2022 and will run until 1 April 2022, with a total of 22 ceremonies. A total of 1169 Master students (class of 2020) will graduate (700 females and 469 males) for programmes of study completed in 2020.
The ceremonies for students who had successfully completed their studies in 2021 will commence on 22 March, 2022. The total number of 1320 Master students will graduate (754 females and 565 males and 1 gender neutral).
The ceremonies for students are held at the Jesuits Church in the Valletta campus, and guests will be seated in the Valletta campus theatre, Aula Prima and Aula Magna.
