We congratulate Rev. Dr Stefan Attard, who has been elected Dean of the Faculty of Theology with effect from 2 March 2022 for a period of four years.
Rev. Dr Attard currently heads the Department of Sacred Scripture, Hebrew and Greek. He is also the representative of the Faculty of Theology for the European University of the Seas (SEA-EU) and the Faculty's Erasmus+ Coordinator. Over the years, he served as a member of the University Senate, as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Theology, and as coordinator of the Faculty's Periodic Programme Review.
As Senior Lecturer, Dr Attard lectures on the Psalms, Prophetic and Wisdom Literature, Hermeneutics, and Biblical Hebrew. His research interests include themes on the Psalms, the synchronic and canonical approach to the Bible, and metaphors in the Bible, among others.
