The latest of Prof. Borg’s engagements were at: the University of Patras, Greece, where he facilitated a seminar on ‘Social Justice and Early Childhood Education’; Zuyd University, the Netherlands, where he delivered a keynote speech entitled 'Experiential Knowledge.Whose voice matters in academia?’ and a seminar on 'Creating Opportunities in the Context of Disadvantage'; and the University of Bucharest’s Department of Sociology and Social work, Romania, where he facilitated a three-day seminar on ‘Emancipatory Adult Education’.
‘Reimagining Parenthood in Diverse Contexts. A handbook of parent-centred approaches’ is the title of a new book edited by Prof. Carmel Borg, Head, Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education. The recently-published book has already been launched or presented in a number of cities in Europe, as Prof. Borg continues with his European schedule of inspirational talks, keynote speeches, undergraduate as well as postgraduate teaching assignments, and seminar facilitation.
