The Gedeon Ritcher Prize in Women’s Health for the academic year 2021-22 was awarded to Mr Andrea Caruana, whose second-year essay project entitled ‘Hypotheses on the Temporal Difference in Activation of COX Isozymes and Non-Uniform Neoangiogenesis in Endometriosis: A Literature Review’ was considered the most meritorious submission. The prize includes a monetary prize and a book token for the medical student whose women’s health related essay submission is deemed to be the most meritorious by a board of assessors representing the departments of obstetrics & gynaecology and of the pre-clinical studies.
