CEER has successfully concluded its partnership in the TEDS Erasmus+ project. The goal of the project was to contribute to teacher education for sustainability (EduS) in different European countries by promoting professional knowledge about EduS, both in theory and practice in contexts of in-service teacher education. CEER was the lead in the intellectual output 4 that was concerned with the production of multimodal case studies.
Multimodal case studies are:
- Processes of professional development concerning the engagement of Education for Sustainability within the TEDS project in theory and practice.
- These processes illustrate “paradigmatic examples†of teachers’ professional development with respect to Education for Sustainability
- The multimodal case studies describe and interpret factors which enabled or constrained these processes.
- The multimodal case studies propose principles and practices to be used by teachers’ educators in teachers’ professional development based on the TEDS framework.
The main impact of these multimodal case studies relates to their potential as a study basis for future teacher education contexts/situations, allowing transferability to other educational contexts.
The multimodal case studies produced by CEER can be found as per below.
