Agora is the LIVE political talk-show aired and streamed LIVE every Saturday morning on Campus FM, the radio station of the University of Malta. During 2022/23, the fourth, fifth and sixth series of this radio programme were produced and presented by the ().
Media productions help our faculties, departments, institutes and centres to enhance their relevance and visibility beyond campus parameters and, at the same time, secures a greater national impact as contemplated in the strategy of L-Universitá ta’ Malta for 2020/25.
Each AGORA series consists of thirteen episodes. The following are some statistics and basic facts about what has been achieved throughout this academic year:

AGORA is hosted by who is also serving as Head of the Department of Public Policy (FEMA).
Some of the VIP guests included Alex Agius Saliba (MEP), Dr Toni Abela (Judge), James Pearsal (MCESD chair), Imam Laiq Ahmed Atif, Gozo Bishop Mons. Anton Theuma, Hon Anglu Farrugia (Speaker of the House of Representatives), Hon Katya Degiovanni MP, Hon Justin Schembri MP, Rector , Vanessa Frazier (Malta’s Ambassador to the UN) and Charles Deguara (Auditor General).
The last two shows from the 2022/23 schedule will be aired on June 24 and July 1. AGORA will resume after the summer break on the first Saturday of October. We take this opportunity to thank all those who participated in the past programmes and we extend our invitation to the rest of UM academics to participate in the next series of programmes.
This is another successful story involving internal stakeholders’ collaboration between and the Department of Public Policy and embracing external stakeholders’ collaboration, including a long list of experts, institutions, NGOs and private sector partners who accepted to be interviewed in our state-of-the-art studios on campus.
