High-end research at the University of Malta is ongoing in all areas – science, technology, medicine, social wellbeing, the humanities, arts, culture, etc. Cross-faculty research is proving to be very productive and effective. The EMRG (electromagnetic research group) was set up precisely to work on research projects which require expert researchers from different disciplines.
Based in the , EMRG is the brain child of . The team applies Physics research to areas such as medicine, agriculture and much more, to create possible solutions for a better quality of life. Of course, such research activity needs financial backing and has been instrumental in finding the much needed support for such research projects.
On Thursday 15 June 2023, the managing director of Evolve Ltd, Mr Christopher Busuttil Delbridge visited the EMRG labs to meet the researchers in the presence of the Rector of the University of Malta, and Pro Rector, .
