It is the turn of students at St Ignatius College Secondary School Ħandaq Qormi to be inspired by 26 women in STEM, as the She Can Exhibition widens its footprint by touring another school.
This news comes a week after the official launch of this nationwide initiative together with , the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, and , the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, under the World Capital for Women and Girls in Science and Technology, given to Malta by , the Royal Academy of Science International Trust.

On the third week of January 2024, Science Popularisation Senior Executive, Ms Danielle Martine Farrugia, together with the Head of the UM's Physics Department, Dr Lourdes Farrugia, Agricultural Expert, Ms Sonya Sammut, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr Fiona Sammut, visited the school and gave a talk on the career options in STEM available to today's students.

Dr Lourdes Farrugia and Danielle Martine Farrugia stated that - "Whilst we recognise that the environment has changed since we were children and that everything is not the same for today's younger generations, the push to get more young students involved in STEM is collectively getting bigger and better, and that is important. It's important because when we think of inspiring women who are actually making a difference in local and international scenarios, the list is getting longer, and thus the community is growing stronger, giving a larger support system to society."
