On Thursday, 25 July 2024, the Ministry for Gozo together with the Ministry for Gozo hosted a successful first local ReMED Project Committee Meeting in Gozo.
The University鈥檚 Faculty for the Built Environment is Project ReMED鈥檚 Lead Partner, and Eco Gozo is a project partner.
ReMED: Towards Climate Resilient Mediterranean Cities, in an INTERREG EURO MED Project, with the objective of promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention, while taking into account eco-system based approaches.
The project capitalises on the results of previous projects including the CESBA MED Project: Sustainable MED Cities, (Common European Sustainable Building Assessment Method).
The potential development of affordable tools and overarching supporting frameworks were discussed during the committee meeting.
