MOVE ON is funded by the KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education of Erasmus+
Partners - Universities from Finland [Lead partner], Iceland, Denmark and Malta.
Prof. Cynthia Formosa from the Faculty of Health Sciences UM is the local lead, and Prof. Alfred Gatt is also working on this project.
The project addresses the digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity, stimulating innovative learning and teaching practices. The objective is to use movement analysis as an important part of clients’ rehabilitation process and educate future professionals’ preparedness for the use of online technologies and AI in rehabilitation. Furthermore, the aim is to strengthen co-operation between HEIs and relevant stakeholders to connect them to the possibilities offered by new technologies in learning, teaching and research, including improving digital readiness among students and teachers.
Educational activities, meetings, research activities and development plans will support the development of an online platform to support high qualitative movement analysis in EU. The digital learning platform has now been chosen and developed, and virtual laboratory tours from all 4 universities will be shared on the platform. Learning materials, micro-credential courses and AI-driven tools for learning movement analysis online will be co-created and piloted with students, teachers, lifelong learners and relevant stakeholders.
A second in person meeting was held in Iceland on 27 and 28 January 2025. We are happy to announce that the next in person meeting will be held in Malta on 30 and 31 October 2025.
