, Director of the , recently concluded his second two year term as Chair of the COST Scientific Committee.
), is the oldest European framework for scientific cooperation established in 1971 and includes 43 countries. The main aim of the COST Association is to fund scientific and technological cooperation and network formation in Europe and beyond.
The Scientific Committee, which was chaired by Prof. Mule’ Stagno for the past four years, provides expert scientific and technical advice to COST as well as ensuring the scientific quality of the projects throughout the evaluation and selection process.
