The third and final IGCOORD Conference took place on 26–27 June 2025, at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Marie Curie-Skłodowska University, in Lublin, Poland.
Centred on the theme of intergovernmental coordination in times of poly-crisis, the conference examined its legal, political, and financial dimensions. Among the featured presentations, , delivered a paper titled “Intergovernmental Cooperation or National Interest? Malta’s Role in EU Crisis Management.”
Her presentation examined how small states like Malta strategically engage with EU crisis frameworks and mechanisms. This event marked the conclusion of the COST Action CA20123 project, Intergovernmental Coordination from Local to European Governance (IGCOORD) (2021-2025).
