The Centre for Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health has been designated as a World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre on the Promotion and Protection of Mental Health in Schools, for a four-year period from 2025 to 2029.
In line with WHO Region for Europe鈥檚 guidelines, the new Centre will focus on systemic, evidence based, culturally responsive, interdisciplinary and participatory approaches and interventions to mental promotion and protection in schools.
The four-year programme builds on the Centre鈥檚 previous and ongoing work in this area and includes capacity building, development of tools, knowledge production and raising awareness and advocacy, though various initiatives such as training programmes for leaders, development of a collaborative research tools, publications, webinars and other dissemination strategies.
