Xjenza Online is the journal of the Malta Chamber of Scientists under the auspices of the Research, Innovation & Development Trust (RIDT) of the University of Malta and is published by the Chamber in . Xjenza Online is a peer-reviewed, open access international journal available now with free processing charges.
The journal includes research articles, original research reports, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries in the fields of mathematics, statistics, geology, engineering, computer science, social sciences, natural and earth sciences, technological sciences, linguistics, industrial, nanotechnology, biology, chemistry, physics, zoology, medical studies, electronics and all other applied and theoretical aspect of sciences.

The first issue of the first Xjenza series of the journal was published in 1996 and the last volume (No. 12) was published in 2007. Xjenza Online, the revamp of Xjenza, has been published regularly since its first issue in March 2013 with two issues per year. In the past Xjenza was mainly open to Maltese researchers however, at present, the is composed of internationally recognised scientists.
Xjenza, besides highlighting the exciting nationally and internationally research, aims to provide training for undergraduate and graduate students and young researchers in the art of scientific publishing in a peer-reviewed environment. Xjenza also aims to become an essential tool in the scientific development of early-stage researchers, and represent a learning platform where they can learn not only how to write a scientific paper, but also how to get it published.
