The Leverhulme Trust has agreed to fund a new international initiative entitled 'The Network for the Study of Dispersed Qumran Caves Artefacts and Archival Sources' for three years from April 1, 2016, to be directed by Prof. Joan Taylor (Department of Theology and Religious Studies, King's College London), in association with (Department of Oriental Studies, University of Malta) and Prof. Marcello Fidanzio (Istituto di Culutra e Archeologia delle Terre Bibliche, Faculty of Theology, Lugano).
This network will study important artefacts and archives in museums, institutes and private collections worldwide and is expected to reveal more crucial data about the Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
