Professor Sandra Buttigieg (Faculty of Health Sciences) along with Professor Vincent Cassar, Dr Emanuel Said and Ms Elaine Grech (Faculty of Economics, Management & Accountancy) participated in a two-day training programme on the Campbell Collaboration systematic review methodology in Amsterdam, Holland.
The four will embark on an extensive systematic literature review on Hospital Leadership and Patient Safety Indicators. The project is part of an on-going programme initiated by the Centre for Evidence Based Management to contribute to a diversity of Business and Management areas for policy and strategy making. Another thirteen participants from different European institutions also attended the programme.
The Campbell Collaboration promotes positive social and economic change through the production and use of systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis for evidence-based policy and practice in nine areas including Crime & Justice, Education, International Development, Disability and Business & Management. Campbell Collaboration programme promotes ‘Better Evidence for a Better World’.
