The University of Malta will be re-opening the M.A. programme in Adult Education (4th cohort) in October 2019. This programme provides an in-depth study of the field of adult education in its theoretical, empirical and practical aspects. The requirements include following a number of taught study-units, writing of a dissertation and carrying out two placements.
Persons not in possession of a first degree but who are holders of a Higher Diploma or university diploma in adult education or adult training and development and/or have a proven track record in the area can immediately apply to be considered for admission to a bridging year of multi-disciplinary studies during academic year 2018/9 under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) provision. They are asked to contact the RPL personnel at University: sas@um.edu.mt for advice and support. On successful completion of the RPL process, including obtaining the required number of credits during 2018/9, applicants would be eligible to apply for the MA course which will open in October 2019.
This Master's degree programme is being offered by the University of Malta's Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education. Lecturers involved include people with strong international reputations in the field of adult education and related areas.
