Professor Carmel Borg was keynote speaker at the 24th ENOTHE Annual Conference, held at the Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão (ESSA), Cascais, Portugal, between 4-6 October.
The title of the keynote speech, delivered to an audience of four hundred delegates, was ‘Of Hope and Possibility. OT Professionals as Cultural Workers for Social Change’. The speech promoted a curriculum process which is socially purposeful and transformative.
ENOTHE is the European Network of Occupational Therapists in Higher Education. It is a non-profit organisation, funded by annual subscription membership and is concerned with the standards and quality of professional education of occupational therapists across Europe.
