The Department of Statistics & Operations Research forms part of the Faculty of Science. Since inception, this department has dedicated its efforts to the promotion of the academic disciplines of Probability, Statistics and Operations Research through instruction, research activities and publicity.
The Department of Statistics & O.R. offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level which cater for needs as they arise and develop in local society, and which keep the department abreast with current research and trends.
