Thinking about deepening your commitment towards environmental sustainability? Why not check out the new M.A. in Environmental Ethics?
In line with the vision of the University of Malta on sustainability, the new Master of Arts in Environmental Ethics is opening in October 2019. This M.A. programme is a collaborative endeavour among various Faculties and Institutes at the University of Malta. It seeks to explore how different dimensions (legal, economic, educational, moral, spiritual, political, artistic and technical) can come together for a robust ethics of environmental care. To contextualise the discussion in the local context, specialised courses will treat the built environment, the food cycle, transport, water and energy conservation, and waste disposal.
The taught M.A. in Environmental Ethics is intended for those who wish to analyse the systemic dynamics of environmental degradation and introduce processes that recreate an integral ecology that sustains a healthy environment for future generations. It is targeted to professionals, business persons and members of civil society, from those in urban planning, to manufacturing, to health and veterinary sciences, to policy makers, educators and others.
