, a Visiting Assistant Lecturer at the UM’s Faculty of Medicine & Surgery, a consultant anaesthesist and part of Mater Dei Hospital’s Pain Clinic, has been nominated for the European Parliament’s Citizen Prize.
She was nominated by Peter Agius, former head of the EP office in Malta, on behalf of all health professionals on the frontline.
The European’s Citizen Prize was launched by the EP in 2008 to award people and organisations for any significant achievements. This year, nominations have been extended to every EU citizen.
