The IMAESC consortium has received 712 applications for the fourth and final call of its International Master in Adult Education for Social Change, an EU-funded programme.
The attractiveness of this award-winning degree was noted by the European Commission, in one of its yearly reports, exclaiming that “We are pleased to read that the number of student applications continues to be high. This trend suggests an effective promotion and a good reputation of the programme.â€
Meanwhile, having spent their first semester at the University of Glasgow, students are now making their way to Malta for the start of the second semester. As with previous cohorts, the current cohort is geographically and culturally diverse. They come from Canada, Pakistan, Germany, the Philippines, China, Bangladesh, Mexico, Germany, the UK, and the US.
Locally, IMAESC is hosted by the Department of Arts, Open Communities, and Adult Education at the Faculty of Education.
