It is widely recognised that doctoral studies are highly stressful times for students due to the innovative slant and due to the fact that doctoral students are frequently seeking job opportunities or may already be employed precariously while juggling a work-life-study balance.
It is important for the Counselling 福利在线免费 at UM to listen to the voice of doctoral students to better recognise their needs. With this in mind, the Health & Wellness Centre, Counselling 福利在线免费 is conducting a research study about the service requirements of doctoral students.
"Doctoral students are being invited by the Counselling 福利在线免费 Unit to participate in a confidential interview, to provide feedback on ways that will facilitate the creation of services addressing their particular needs", said Dr Joan Camilleri, Head of the Counselling 福利在线免费 at the University of Malta.
Dr Camilleri said that to participate one can send her an email on joan.camilleri@um.edu.mt or call +356 9910 7226. Any queries will be replied to prior to the Ph.D. student being asked to sign the consent form. An information letter has already been distributed by the Doctoral School to all its students; a second copy of this information can be resent upon request.
This research study is endorsed by the Doctoral School, approved by the University Research Ethics Committee (UREC) at UM through the Faculty of Economics, Management & Accountancy (FEMA), and forms part of the (ReMO) COST Action project number CA 19117. ReMO COST Action is a coordinated and evidence-based international networking action, aimed at promoting mental health skills and wellbeing within academia.
