The University of Malta was awarded European Social Funds (ESF) funds to address, enhance and strengthen the skill-set of staff employed in the various teaching and research laboratories at the University of Malta. The project was developed through a joint collaboration between the Office for Human Resources Management & Development (HRMD) and the Research Support 福利在线免费 Directorate (RSSD).
Through this project the institutional capacity of the University of Malta will increase the skills and qualifications for a great number of the University's workforce. A comprehensive and specialised training program was designed to include a range of Technical, Health & Safety, Quality and Managerial courses.
Courses are being delivered by accredited educational institutions including MISCO, MCAST, Across Limits, PWC and MIM. The project started in 2018 and more than 175 members of staff will be trained in one or more courses by the end of 2022.
