The University of Malta is pleased with the turnout for the latest Cultural Tour to the St. John Co-Cathedral in Valletta, which motivates for other future initiatives of this nature.
For the first group, some 120 people visited the Co-Cathedral on Thursday 8 June 2023.
With such a high demand, the organising team added a supplementary tour to accommodate others who wished to visit the tapestries that were on display, which garnered an additional 90 visitors to Valletta.
A total of €1050 were collected from these tours, which will be passed on to our beneficiaries: the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation and Id-Dar tal-Providenza at the end of the year as part of 'Christmas on Campus 2023' campaign.
We would like to thank all staff and students who participated as well as the St. John's Co-Cathedral Foundation who welcomed us and made it possible to organise this tour with such great success.
The Office of the Secretary, Finance Office, Office for Human Resources Management & Development, Marketing, Communications and Alumni Office and the Degree+ Office all collaborated to make these tours possible.
The event was coordinated by the Conferences and Events Office.
