Here we go again!
Another SfN (American Society for Neuroscience) meeting is scheduled to be held this year in Washington, D.C. from 11 to 15 November, where approximately 25,000 neuroscientists from around the world will gather to discuss the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience. The University of Malta will actively participate, with different researchers, including Prof. Giuseppe Di Giovanni, from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Department of Physiology and Biochemistry. As a member of the SFN's CAR (Committee in Animal Research) board, Prof. Di Giovanni will also serve as the liaison for Europe and North Africa on animal research regulations.
Additionally, as the Secretary General elected for IBRO (International Brain Research Organization), Prof. Di Giovanni will be involved in various IBRO activities at SfN and will be present at booth 3223 on the 14 November, alongside Professor Tracy Bell and Treasurer Jerome Sanes. They'll be available to engage with neuroscientists interested in learning more about IBRO's global neuroscience activities and support initiatives. If you're attending SFN in Washington, don't miss the opportunity to visit the IBRO booth that proudly displays the Malta flag.
