First year Marketing students attended an industry visit at the leading wholesaler in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market in Malta, AMSM that is part of the Alf. Mizzi & Sons Group.
During the visit, students had a unique opportunity to tour the premises and the warehouses of the company. Students gained insights into the complex processes involved in the wholesale operations including sourcing, storage, logistics, advertising, promotion and distribution of products through different channels. The management team shared valuable insights with our students and explained success stories of several brands that the Company launched in the Maltese market.
The Department of Marketing thanks the management team of AMSM for their support and dedication in preparing, hosting and sharing their expertise with our undergraduate university students.
