Prof. Valerie Visanich has recently launched her latest publication entitled Transformations in Social Science Research Methods during the COVID-19 Pandemic, co-edited by Michael J. Ryan and Gaspar Brändle. This book, published by Routledge, is available as Open Access and can be downloaded .
The book launch took place during the European Sociological Association General Conference held at the University of Porto, Portugal, in August 2024.
In a separate event this summer, Prof. Visanich was invited to deliver a public lecture at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum in Buffalo, New York State, U.S. In her lecture, she discussed the significance of cultural policy in the context of the small island state of Malta, drawing on examples of art practices and artists, including the works of fellow academic artist Dr Trevor Borg.
