Prof. Mario Pace, Head of Department for Languages and Humanities Education at the Faculty of Education, recently concluded a prestigious visiting professorship at the Pope John Paul II Catholic University in Lublin, Poland. During his week-long academic engagement, Prof. Pace delivered an intensive 15-hour course to doctoral students specialising in languages and linguistics. 
  
  
		
    The comprehensive program, "Teaching and Learning Languages in the 21st Century: Navigating Intercultural Communication Challenges and Opportunities," addressed contemporary issues in language education within our increasingly globalised world. A highlight of his visit was an open lecture titled "Generation Now: Bridging the Motivation Gap in Modern Classrooms," which drew an audience of over 70 university academics and students. The presentation explored innovative strategies for engaging today's learners and sparked meaningful dialogue among education professionals.
