Dr Patrick Camilleri, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Leadership for Learning and Innovation within the Faculty of Education, has lately been making strides in terms of disseminating information on how Artificial Intelligence can be better integrated in classrooms.
Firstly, he has provided the foreword to an important US publication titled 'The Human Behind the Curtain: How AI Smoke and Mirrors Revealed the Soul of the Magician', written by Alan Hilsabeck. The book advocates, among other things, for AI to be taught to students in schools.
Dr Camilleri has also been invited to talk on a number of radio and TV shows on this topic.
- He was recently invited to talk about AI and Education on Bil-Fatti on OneTV.
- He also attended a discussion on Social Media and Mobile Phones on TVM+ programme, 'Insights'.
- He's been invited to Crypto Hub Malta, as he formed part of a panel of speakers discussing the future of smart classrooms and how AI is transforming the classroom.
- He also engaged in a discussion on how AI can be integrated in classrooms with Dr Danielle Martine Farrugia, on Radio Mocha
- He gave his opinion on the future of AI and Education during Popolin's educational initiative, 'Minuta Teknolo摹ija'
