Commonwealth Writers is delighted to host a short story workshop on Gozo, Malta鈥檚 sister island, as part of the Commonwealth Peoples Forum on Thursday 26 November 2015.
The workshop is aimed at new and emerging Gozitan writers, as well as new, unpublished writers from the island of Malta. The workshop is open to to writers who write in Maltese and writers who write in English.
Led by short story writers Clare Azzopardi from Malta and Jacob Ross from Grenada and the UK, the workshop will cover topics such as idea generation, writer鈥檚 block and story structure. The workshop will be targeted towards the needs of the writers attending the workshop.
Commonwealth Writers invites writers aged 18 and over to apply. There is no fee for the workshop.

- Name, email address and contact telephone number
- A paragraph about yourself (stating your age, giving your writing history, and saying something about any other occupations)
- Three lines about what you would hope to gain from the Short Story Workshop
- A sample of your short story writing (1000 words maximum)
