In 2014-2020, the EU has earmarked close to €30 bn for financial assistance to the countries of Enlargement and Neighbourhood zone. This assistance, financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) and the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI), is delivered partly through budget support, partly through projects implemented by public, private and non-governmental bodies.
This seminar will give a detailed overview about how these funds are programmed and implemented, by looking at the different stakeholders and their respective roles. The process of designing, tendering and implementing EU financed programmes will be analysed in detail.
