Postgraduate or Undergraduate Studies in any discipline 2019/2020

The Government of the People鈥檚 Republic of China is offering 3 scholarships for the academic year of 2019-2020 for Maltese students to study as graduate, undergraduate or visiting scholars at Chinese Universities. The expense of international transport should be borne by the students themselves.

Application forms can be downloaded from the and should be submitted to the Scholarships Section at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion, Valletta from 08:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00 together with:
- a Curriculum Vitae
- a copy of the degree(s) obtained;
- a University/Faculty/School transcript detailing results and grades obtained;
- two printed copies of Application Form For Chinese Government Scholarship together with Foreigner Physical Examination Form
- applicants for postgraduate studies must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
Successful candidates may be required to enter into a contract to serve the Government or the Private Sector of Malta upon completion.
Applications from Government and Parastatal employees and from the Private Sector will not be considered unless recommended by their Head of Department/Parastatal Organisation/employer respectively.
Late applications will not be considered. The Board鈥檚 decision will be final.
