The University of Malta Library, in collaboration with Proquest, is organising two identical training workshops on ProQuest databases.

The workshops are going to be held at the IT ¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÃâ·Ñ Computer Labs on:

• Friday, 22 November between 10:00 - 12:00 – IT Lab TR003
• Friday, 22 November between 16:00 - 18:00 â€“ IT Lab TR003

The aim of the workshops is to cover the subscribed Proquest databases to those studying and researching in Arts, Architecture, Literature, Social Sciences and History.

The speaker for the workshop will be Ms Daniela Cason who is the training consultant for ProQuest.

The workshop agenda will be as follows:

• Introduction and Learning Objectives
• Description of the collection: Content clusters, Database types and Platforms
• Searching in HyDi vs. the native platforms
• Content groups: description of selected databases and search samples.
