Local researchers have been invited to participate in the call for applications to address research on Coronavirus from the European Innovative Medicines Initiative.
Considering the public health and humanitarian implications, there is a need for all stakeholders across public and private sectors to collaborate in global efforts to care for those affected, contain the outbreak and develop the much-needed resources to prepare for the future.
Collaboration of private companies, academia, international organisations, public bodies, etc has the potential to accelerate the development of therapeutics and diagnostics to tackle this current and any future outbreaks.
The actions resulting from this call will contribute to the pan-European efforts responding to this Public Health Emergency.
