Experts needed
BBI JU is looking for experts to evaluate the 2020 Call for proposals. If you are interested in becoming the next BBI JU evaluator, apply before 14 April 2020. You only need to:
- Register on the European Commission's independent expert database via the 'Funding and tender opportunities portal' see above, if you haven't done so
- Send an email showing your interest in becoming an expert-evaluator for BBI JU.

SIRA2030 consultation open
, opened the public consultation for the next Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda (SIRA). The SIRA2030 sets out the main technological and innovation challenges to establish a sustainable and competitive bio-based industry in Europe and will serve as a basis for the next public-private partnership for the bio-based industries. Everybody is welcome to participate.

SElectiveLI & VIPRISCAR beneficiary LEITAT Technological Center to produce 3d-printed ventilators to help coronavirus patients. The beneficiary of two BBI JU projects started producing 3D-printed ventilators to help hospitals in Spain deal with the COVID-19 outbreak.
BIOFOREVER & LIPES beneficiary Production and donation of hand sanitizer.
DSM has produced and donated 130,000 litres of hand sanitizer in the Netherlands to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
FARM鸥NG coordinator & Zelcor beneficiary
SME donates masks to local hospital. The French company 鸥nsect contributed to protecting medical staff at the hospital in D么le and Gy, France, by giving 340 masks.
