The Ente Fauna Siciliana (Naturalistic Association for Research and Conservation APS founded in 1973, based in Noto, Italy) announces a competition for the awarding of three prizes in euros (of 500, 300 and 200 respectively) to be awarded to young graduates (of no more than 25 years of age) who have completed and discussed a degree dissertation or thesis in the years 2020 and 2021 in one of the following thematic areas:
- Biological Science
- Natural Science
- Geology
- Environmental Sciences
- Agricultural Science
- Protected areas
- Environmental Management and Economics
- Environmental Literature and Philosophy
The competition is open to candidates who have obtained a degree from the University of Catania, University of Tunisia, or from the University of Malta. The papers (drawn up at the choice of the candidate in Italian, English or French) must refer to issues concerning the Mediterranean context.
Applications for participation in the Competition must be sent, in electronic format, to the Regional Secretariat of the Sicilian Fauna Authority by 31 October, 2021, to segreteria@pec.entefaunasiciliana.it indicating complete personal details and the address of the candidate.
