Bursaries limited to EUR 2,000 are being offered for the Academic Year 2021-2022 by the Foundation for Theological Studies to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta.
Applicants should be enrolling as First-Year students in any one of the following fee-paying courses in accordance with the respective UM Regulations and Bye-laws:
- Certificate in Safeguarding of Children & Young People
- Diploma in Religious Studies
- Diploma in the Archival & Cultural Appreciation of Ecclesiastical Patrimony
- B.A. (Hons) in Theology (part-time)
- M.A. in Bioethics
- M.A. in Catholic School Leadership
- M.A. in Environmental Ethics
- M.A. in Matrimonial Canon Law & Jurisprudence
- M.A. in Religious Studies
- M.A. in Theology
- M.A. in Youth Ministry
Applications should be received by 1 October 2021 at noon (local time).
The objectives of bursaries scheme are:
- to assist individuals to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies in theology, pastoral ministry and professional ethics;
- to encourage local research and development in these areas of study;
- and to prepare and empower leaders in professional ethics, Church schools, catechists, and pastoral and spiritual ministry in Malta.
