This session will dive into the value and procedures of Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), Confidentiality (Non-Disclosure) Agreements (NDAs) and Embargoes and how these research support tools can facilitate in the protection of your research or protect information or materials obtained from, or provided to, an external source.
By the end of this workshop, participants should be able to understand:
- when such agreements are necessary;
- terms and information that should be included in the agreements;
- issues involving label licenses and human materials;
- best practices for execution of these agreements;
- understanding Embargoes and when to use them
- University of Malta procedures regarding the implementation of MTAs, NDAs and Embargoes.
