Day 1: Advanced IPA
This workshop is designed for those who have used IPA before but would like to expand their knowledge and develop their skills. This workshop will delve more deeply into the theoretical background of IPA and how you might draw on that knowledge to deepen the level of your analysis. It will include different kinds of IPA designs, e.g. multi-perspective studies.
Learning objective: At the end of this training workshop, you will have a greater understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of IPA and be able to apply that in-depth knowledge to your analysis.
Criteria for learners: To attend this training workshop, you will have completed at least one IPA project previously. It doesn’t matter at what level (undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD), but having done a project before will give you the background knowledge you need to develop to a more advanced level.
Submission of work with application required: We’d like you to submit an abstract of the IPA project you completed previously. Submit through this email.
Day 2: IPA for Supervisors
This workshop is designed for staff members who would like to supervise students using IPA in their projects. It will include an introduction to the methodology and theoretical background of IPA, together with tips for supervision, requirements for projects, typical questions asked by students, etc.
Learning objective: At the end of this training workshop, you will have the tools available to supervise students using IPA in their projects.
Criteria for learners: To attend this training workshop, you must be a staff member.
Day 3: IPA for Beginners
