Overview
The workshop is designed to support academics to develop a better understanding of Generative AI and how this can be used to enhance their teaching and student learning experiences. During the workshop, the participants will use Generative AI tools and discuss how they can incorporate AI in their teaching and assessment practices in a responsible and ethical way.
The topics covered in this workshop include:
- Overview of Generative AI;
- Generative AI prompting (including hands-on practice);
- Challenges & ethical considerations of Generative AI; and
- Teaching & assessments with Generative AI.
Note that:
- Participants are asked to bring their laptops and have account for the workshop.
- Academics who feel confident in their experience with ChatGPT and are interested in exploring more are welcome. However, please note that the first part of the workshop will delve into the basics of Generative AI to accommodate beginners.
