The Procurement Directorate would like to announce that a new Asset Management Unit (AMU), within the same Directorate at the University of Malta, has recently been established.
In view of this, the AMU requires the full cooperation of University employees responsible for procuring goods for their respective Faculties, Institutes, Centres, Schools and Directorates, for the effective and smooth running of this new setup.
In light of this, the Procurement Directorate is announcing that the Asset Management Unit will start operating as of 18 January 2016.
Before raising any requisitions related to purchasing of Fixed Assets through the AIMS ERP system, the requisitioner should follow the set of instructions available .
Some processes and procedures will need to be revised and amended from time to time; University staff will be informed about any changes that will take place.
Every possible effort has been made to facilitate these new practices. Members of staff may provide any suggestions, concerns or comments by sending an email to the AMU.
