The first annual TrainMALTA Networking Event is going to be held on 25 and 26 April 2016 at the University of Malta Valletta Campus and will be open to all University of Malta Faculty and research staff, postgraduate students and other researchers.
This networking event will bring together scientists from the field of genetics, molecular biology, IT, computer science and bioinformatics from the University of Malta, the University of Cambridge (UCAM), and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), and aims to identify areas where training in bioinformatics and model systems can aid ongoing research.
The event will begin on 25 April with presentations from our collaborators UCAM and KU Leuven on their ongoing research projects.
This event provides an excellent opportunity to showcase research in a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation. All participants are encouraged to present their ongoing or planned work.
To attend this event, please fill in the by latest Saturday 16 April. A social evening funded by the project will also be held on 25 April for all those interested.
